Four Ascension Ministries Noted for Programs

Becker’s Hospital Review has named four Ascension ministries to its 2014 list of “100 hospitals with great neurosurgery and spine programs”: Providence Hospital & Medical Centers (Southfield, Michigan), part of St. John Providence Health System; Saint Thomas Hospital for Spinal Surgery (Nashville, Tennessee), part of Saint Thomas Health; St. Vincent Hospital & Health Services (Indianapolis), part of St. Vincent Health; and Via Christi Hospitals Wichita, Kansas, part of Via Christi Health.

According to Becker’s, the 100 listed hospitals and systems offer remarkable spine and neurosurgical care. They have been recognized for excellence in the specialties by U.S. News & World Report, Healthgrades, Blue Cross Blue Shield, CareChex and the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
