6 Senior Care Facilities Achieve Highest Rating

Six Ascension senior care facilities have achieved a five-star overall ranking by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) through its improved five-star quality rating:

  • Alexian Brothers Sherbrooke Village, St. Louis
  • Borgess Gardens, Kalamazoo, Michigan
  • Carroll Manor Nursing & Rehab Center, Washington, D.C.
  • Haven of Our Lady of Peace, Pensacola, Florida (not part of Ascension Health Senior Care)
  • Seton Manor, Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania
  • Via Christi Village Ridge, Wichita, Kansas

Under the new, more stringent criteria put forth by CMS, designed to raise the bar for all facilities in order to recognize the very top tier in quality measures, these facilities are still rated at the very top. Nine other Ascension Health Senior Care facilities are rated at the new, more difficult four-star level and are in close pursuit of the new five-star rating.
