 Ascension Michigan Leaders Among Most Influential Women in State

Gwen MacKenzie, Senior Vice President, Ascension Health/Michigan Ministry Market Executive, and Jean Meyer, President and CEO, St. John Providence in Detroit, part of Ascension Michigan, are featured in the latest Crain's Detroit Business "100 Most Influential Women in Michigan" special report.​

The 100 women honored manage budgets and civic initiatives. They lead in business, academia, nonprofits and public policy. They are CEOs, executive directors and company founders.

Crain's has been honoring influential women in metro Detroit since 1997; this year, the organization took the recognition statewide. Nominations for the 100 Most Influential Women in Michigan came from Crain's readers, reporters and editors, from a formal scan of news stories involving women-led companies and initiatives, from key players and partners, as well as nominations from past honorees.
