Terri Rocole has joined the leadership team of Ascension Wisconsin in the role of Chief Mission Integration Officer, effective July 1, 2016.
Terri will be focused on all aspects of Mission Integration including strategy, governance, ecclesial relations, formation, workplace spirituality, ethics, spiritual care, community health and benefit, and various collaborative relationships that touch this critical aspect of the ministry. The scope of this role includes all of the hospital and outpatient operations, the medical groups and Ministry-wide Functions. The role includes priority goal-setting and accountability, operational plans, budgets and metrics for all aspects of the Mission Integration Centers of Expertise.
She will work closely with Bernie Sherry, Senior Vice President, Ascension Health/Wisconsin Ministry Market Executive, and members of the Ascension Wisconsin executive leadership team to foster Catholic Identity, fulfill the Mission/Vision/Values and integrate Ascension’s identity as a health ministry of the Church into the organizational culture across Ascension Wisconsin. Terri will be a primary liaison with the other market Ministry-wide Functions and serve as a member of the Ascension Wisconsin Senior Leader Team.
Terri brings many years of mission-focused experience to her new role. She most recently served for seven years as Senior Vice President – Mission Services for Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare and for five years prior to that as the Vice President – Mission Services within one of the Wheaton regions. She has also held a variety of other healthcare and community roles throughout her career.
Terri earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Athabasca University in Alberta, Canada, graduating first in her MBA class. Terri also earned a Master of Education in Ministry degree from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee. In 2010, she was honored with the Graduate of the Last Decade Alumni Award from Cardinal Stritch. She has served on several healthcare and community boards including the CHA Mission Advisory Committee.
