Nick Ragone on Forbes list of ‘game-changing marketing leaders’

Forbes magazine’s list of 50 game-changing marketing leaders includes a familiar name: Nick Ragone, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Ascension.

The publication’s “CMO Next 2019: 50 Game-Changing Marketing Leaders” is “a compilation of 50 CMOs who are redefining the CMO role and who embody all that the role is becoming, can be and will be in the future.” This is the second year for what Forbes says will be an annual list.

“Through qualitative research tapping into the expertise of industry watchers as well as Forbes’ editorial industry knowledge, the list features 50 people who have reached the highest-level marketing position within a given company – CMO title or equivalent – and who are driving brand and business growth,” Forbes said. “Through their work, the day-to-day of their posts, they are reimagining, reinventing and redefining the CMO role. They have diverse educations and career paths. They are progressive thinkers who bring an obsessive customer-first mindset to the job.”

“An outspoken proponent of ‘a world-class consumer experience in healthcare and the importance of data in better understanding the consumer journey through our system,’ [Nick] is working to create an integrated brand experience to go along with a now-national Ascension brand following the rebranding of 2,700 care sites over the past five years,” Forbes said.
