Ascension executive Nick Ragone’s appointment to the Missouri State Board of Health and Senior Services is the topic of a recent “View from the C-Suite” article at Strategic Health Care Marketing.
“Creating an open dialogue among legislators, state agencies and healthcare organizations gives all of us a different perspective,” said Nick, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Ascension.
Ascension’s involvement in the community also means encouraging individual physicians and staff members to share their talents and knowledge with other entities focused on community issues, he told the publication.
“I am excited to represent the health care community and to have input into public policy related to health services for our state,” Nick said. “My focus will be curbing opioid addiction, reducing maternal mortality, providing care that enables people to heal in their home, and greater investment in behavioral and mental health, which are key interests for me personally and for both Ascension and the State of Missouri.”
