Ascension’s commitment to veterans extends to patients and associates

This Veterans Day, Ascension is running print and TV ads in many markets to reaffirm our support of veterans. Click here to watch the TV ad, which also will be shared via social media.

Ascension’s ongoing commitment to military veterans is manifested in several ways.

Since 2016, the System has worked to ensure veterans receive the care they deserve. Ascension is committed to providing compassionate, personalized care for all with special attention to those persons living in poverty and most vulnerable. And no population is more vulnerable and more deserving of compassion and support than our nation’s veterans.

In several Ascension markets, caregivers are making a positive difference in the lives of veterans and military families by providing health and wellness support through health screenings, psychological counseling and education so they can achieve integration back into the community and re-establish connections to family, with a special focus on veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder.
