Associate’s daughter recreates Ascension Via Christi in miniature

For a recent class project on communities, third-grader Ember Nagy created a miniature hospital in the likeness of where she was born — Ascension Via Christi St. Joseph in Wichita, Kansas.

The Robert M. Martin Elementary student included space for a newborn nursery, patient rooms, reception desk, helipad, and parking for visitors and an ambulance.

Per the assignment, the tiny people were made from “circus peanut” marshmallows.

Ember’s mother is Melissa Lacey, Marketing and Communications Specialist, Ascension.
