Nurses at Ascension Texas are being honored with The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses®. The award is part of the DAISY Foundation's mission to recognize the extraordinary, compassionate nursing care they provide patients and families every day.

Ascension Texas celebrates milestone: 5 heart transplants in 5 days

Last summer, Ascension Texas, including Ascension Seton Heart Specialty Care & Transplant Center at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin, and Texas Center for Pediatric & Congenital Heart Disease at Dell Children’s, completed five heart transplants over the course of five days. This rare accomplishment showcases the growth of both programs, and the delivery of the highest level of specialized cardiovascular care for children and adults, close to home.
