Ascension Sacred Heart Cancer Center has moved to the Ascension Sacred Heart Bay campus. Providers began seeing patients at the new office on July 1.
“We are excited for our cancer specialists to be on the hospital campus,” said Robin Godwin, President, Sacred Heart Bay. “This will make things more convenient for the patients we serve, including coordination with the county’s only fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist Dr. Alison Moody.”
The office is now located in the Tommy Cooley Building in Suite 2F. The building is at the corner of Bonita Avenue and 7th Street, just down from the emergency department and near the old main entrance. Patients will be able to continue to see their trusted providers: Thomas R. Johnson, MD, Sarah A Rowe, APRN, and Courtney Hodge, APRN.
“This move will increase collaboration with other doctors on campus who care for our patients and become more involved in the Sacred Heart Bay medical community," said Dr. Thomas Johnson, oncologist and hematologist. “For our patients, they’ll be able to better coordinate appointments, testing and imaging with other co-located services. ”
