New hospital proposed for growing Clarksville area

Ascension Saint Thomas announced plans to build a $148.5 million hospital and outpatient facility in Clarksville, Tennessee. The 44-bed hospital will provide services such as emergency care, inpatient surgery, cardiology, oncology, women's health, neonatal intensive care, and orthopedics.

The facility aims to address the rising healthcare demand in Montgomery County, which has seen rapid population growth (12% since 2020), making it one of Tennessee’s fastest-growing regions. The hospital will be located at Highway 76 and Interstate 24, pending state approval expected by late July.
