Via Christi St. Francis announces new Chief Nursing Officer

Via Christi St. Francis is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Pittman, RN, MHA, MSN, NEA-BC, as its new Chief Nursing Officer. Lisa brings extensive and impactful nursing leadership experience to the organization, marked by a proven ability to drive positive change and foster excellence in patient care.

Lisa has a distinguished career leading nursing operations within complex hospital systems and national healthcare networks in Illinois. Her previous roles have encompassed strategic oversight and operational management, where she has consistently achieved significant improvements in key areas such as patient safety, quality outcomes, employee engagement, workforce development and operational efficiency.

Lisa holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of St. Francis, a Bachelor of Science degree from Parkland College, and she is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nursing Administration from Illinois State University. Her commitment to professional development is further demonstrated by her Nurse Executive Advanced Board Certified (NEA-BC) certification.
