Ascension is expanding digital access by launching a Spanish version of the Dell Children’s Medical Center website — the first content on ascension.org to feature full multi-language support. The user-friendly website extends throughout many areas of the Dell Children’s site, including the hospital's unique history and comprehensive pediatric medical services. The new website is part of Dell Children’s ongoing investments in Spanish language services including medical, nurse and child life translators along with modern translation technology it currently provides to both patients and families.
This new option ensures Spanish-speaking families can easily navigate and access crucial healthcare information. It reflects Dell Children’s and Ascension’s commitment to providing care with dignity by engaging families in the language that best supports them.
“There are many who could benefit from seeing our care options in their primary language,” said Aaron Ferber, Vice President, Digital Experience, Research & Design. “Doing so not only makes it easier for certain populations to engage Ascension services but also brings dignity to our interaction by engaging in a way that is easiest for them.”
