Because nothing is more special than being together for the holidays

We were deeply honored to partner with the Kendra Scott Foundation to create a truly special holiday reunion for a brave 14-year-old patient who recently underwent a life-saving heart transplant. Spending the holidays in the hospital, the patient's greatest wish was to be together with his family.

Through the incredible coordination of the Kendra Scott Foundation and the Dell Children's Foundation, we were able to grant that wish. The Abdallah family was reunited in Austin, including the patient's father, Elias, who was able to take leave from his overseas military service to be by his son’s side.

From surprise gifts to heartfelt family time, we hope the Abdallah family's "Together for the Holidays" reunion created memories to last a lifetime.

A heartfelt thank you to the Kendra Scott Foundation for their generosity in making this reunion possible. We also thank the entire pediatric heart transplant team at Dell Children's Medical Center, led by Dr. Charles Fraser Jr., and Dr. Chesney Castleberry, for the care and support they provided to this patient and his family every step of the way.

Wishing everyone a very special holiday filled with the joy of being together with the ones they love.
