Ascension Saint Agnes Connects Talent with Opportunity Through “Spring Into Careers” and “Thrive” Events

More than 300 associates and community members participated in Career Day activities during two successful workforce development events at Ascension Saint Agnes on May 29.

The Spring Into Careers Community Hiring Event attracted 219 job seekers from across the region. The event resulted in nursing assistant interviews, administrative interviews, and more than 25 community members began the process of pursuing nursing programs at Notre Dame of Maryland University and the Community College of Baltimore County.

At the same time, the Thrive at Saint Agnes Career Event welcomed 110 associates interested in career growth, education benefits and professional development resources. Attendees connected with Internal Mobility, Workforce Development and Talent Acquisition teams, learned about tuition assistance opportunities and explored pathways for advancing their careers within Ascension.

Investing in career development and recruiting future caregivers helps build a stronger workforce for today and tomorrow. These events support associate growth, create pathways into healthcare careers and help ensure Ascension Saint Agnes continues to meet the needs of the communities we serve.
