The recognition places the hospitals among the nation’s leading providers of maternity care and highlights Ascension Wisconsin’s continued commitment to delivering exceptional care for mothers and babies.
The three hospitals were among only nine hospitals in Wisconsin selected for the 2026 ranking.
Presented by Newsweek and Statista, the annual ranking recognizes 460 hospitals nationwide that demonstrate excellence in maternity care through strong clinical outcomes, high-quality patient experiences, and innovative approaches to maternal and newborn health.

According to Newsweek, hospitals recognized on the list are leading the way through innovations such as remote patient monitoring, expanded doula and midwifery integration, enhanced postpartum support, and advanced technology designed to improve maternal and infant outcomes.
The ranking also recognizes hospitals that are advancing equitable access to care and improving the overall patient experience during pregnancy, delivery and postpartum recovery.
