Amid the nationwide celebrations marking the United States' 250th anniversary, a local family experienced a historic milestone of their own. Elianna, a "Semiquincentennial Baby," was born July 4th at 9:42 a.m. at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent.
The infant is the daughter of Cristal and Adan, who welcomed the new addition during the height of the July 4th weekend festivities. Hospital officials confirmed that both mother and child are in good health and are currently recovering.
Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital, a Level I Pediatric Trauma and Surgery Center in Evansville, provides specialized care for infants and adolescents across Indiana. The facility features a 97-bed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and is part of the Ascension health system.
