Ascension St. Vincent is expanding its presence in Southern Indiana through a renewed partnership with the Warrick County Health Department, aimed at boosting public health outreach and increasing local access to preventive care.
The extended agreement pairs local public health officials directly with Ascension St. Vincent Warrick clinical operations, establishing a coordinated framework to connect area families with early diagnostic services and structured follow-up care.
Central to the collaboration is a dedicated effort toward early cancer detection. Under the agreement, Ascension St. Vincent Warrick will continue to offer key diagnostic and preventive screenings when clinically indicated:
- Breast Health: Mammography for early breast cancer detection
- Prostate Health: Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing
- Lung Health: Low-dose CT (LDCT) scans for lung cancer screening
- Colorectal Health: Diagnostic and screening colonoscopies
Beyond clinical screenings, the joint initiative establishes a shared protocol for community outreach, outcome tracking, and HIPAA-compliant data sharing to protect patient privacy and security. By analyzing local health metrics together, both organizations aim to assess the long-term impact of these services and continually adapt care to meet changing community needs.
