Physicians of Howell Allen, the Nashville, Tennessee, area’s leading neurosurgery practice and clinic, will join Saint Thomas Medical Partners, the multi-specialty physician group practice that is part of Saint Thomas Health, a member of Ascension.
Leaders from Howell Allen and Saint Thomas Medical Partners have signed a definitive agreement for the 13 neurosurgeons and physicians in the practice to become members of Saint Thomas Medical Partners when the transaction is closed this fall. The Howell Allen integration with Saint Thomas Medical Partners will include the physicians, nine practice sites, 130 staff and an Imaging Center.

Upon the effective date, Howell Allen locations will be jointly branded with Saint Thomas Medical Partners and Howell Allen Clinic. Saint Thomas Medical Partners currently has more than 350 providers in 80 locations. Howell Allen offers diagnosis, neurosurgical care, pain management and physical therapy in nine locations across the region.
