Shanon Hamilton named Administrator of St. Vincent’s Chilton

St. Vincent’s Health System, part of Ascension Alabama, has announced that Shanon Hamilton has been named Administrator of St. Vincent’s Chilton.

Since joining the system in 2013, he has been a strong leader with a deep commitment to the health ministry. Most recently, Shanon served as interim Administrator and Director of Clinical Services at St. Vincent’s Chilton. Before joining St. Vincent’s Chilton, Shanon served as the Administrative Director of Clinical Services at St. Vincent’s One Nineteen. Before his tenure at St. Vincent’s, Shanon worked at Chilton Medical Center in a variety of roles, including Director of Ancillary Services and the interim Chief Operating Officer.

Shanon earned a Master of Environmental Science Policy and Management degree from the American Military University. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

A Chilton County native, Shanon is both highly respected and engrained in the local community. He is also an active member, deacon and youth director at Victory Baptist Church.
