Ascension Texas leader writes about benefits of Ascension Online Care

Andy Davis, Senior Vice President, Ascension, and Ministry Market Executive, Ascension Texas, recently wrote a column for LinkedIn noting the benefits of telemedicine and celebrating the launch of Ascension Online Care, the virtual urgent care service that allows a patient to have a one-on-one video visit with a provider.

Ascension Online Care, recently launched across the nation and at Ascension Texas, includes direct-to-consumer virtual care that has been built to offer healthcare services online, anytime, with 24/7 care that fits any schedule.

“Direct-to-consumer virtual care is just one of the innovative care models that Ascension Texas is implementing to better support convenience and integrated care for patients in need,” Andy said. “Innovative ambulatory care models are an important part of Ascension's vision for the future and goals to better serve our communities with greater access.”
