“As a Catholic health ministry, Ascension St. John has always prioritized our Mission of serving those most vulnerable in our communities,” said Jeffrey D. Nowlin, FACHE, CEO, Ascension St. John and Oklahoma Ministry Market Executive. “Medical Mission at Home is a tangible way for us to serve by bringing these services directly to those who need it.”
“We are excited to come together with others to serve those in the Bartlesville and Nowata communities who lack access to basic medical care and to help connect them with community resources and follow-up care,” said Ascension St. John Jane Phillips President and Chief Operating Officer Mike Moore.
As a lead-up to the November 9 event, Ascension St. John associates have been invited to donate diapers, formula, wipes, jackets, coats, hats, scarves, gloves and socks. Items collected will be available to Medical Mission at Home attendees.
“Our associates are compassionate and they love to give,” said Ron Tremblay, Ascension St. John Chief Mission Integration Officer. “The donation drive will be an opportunity for those who may not be able to volunteer at the Medical Mission at Home to show their support for our community.”
