Ascension St. John Expands Midwifery Care to Claremore

Ascension St. John Nowata will operate as a Rural Emergency Hospital (REH). The new designation from CMS ensures continued access to 24/7 emergency and outpatient care for Nowata and rural Oklahoma.

August is World Breastfeeding Month and Ascension St. John Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Susan Reeder, visited with News on 6’s Tatum Guinn to talk about the importance of breastfeeding education and knowing what resources are available before the baby arrives.
