A culture of safety
Patient safety is foundational to how we deliver care. Every associate has a role in identifying safety issues, speaking up about concerns, and taking action to prevent harm.
Across Ascension, our national safety network connects teams to share learnings, manage risks, and spread improvements. Programs like National Good Catch and Everyday Heroes of Safety recognize associates who speak up to strengthen safety, encouraging a culture where everyone works together to protect patients and each other.
Spiritual care
As a faith-based health system, we honor the dignity of every person by integrating board-certified Spiritual Care professionals and Chaplains into care teams.
