Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin among ‘great’ programs

Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin, part of Ascension Wisconsin, was featured recently among “100 hospitals and health systems with great orthopedic programs in 2019” by Becker’s Hospital Review.

The piece notes the hospital was awarded the Top 100 Workplaces award from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel from 2013 to 2019 and ranked in the top 1 percent for overall patient satisfaction by Press Ganey.

Since being established in 2001 as a joint venture between a group of orthopedic surgeons and Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital Milwaukee, the hospital has added services and expanded to a larger location. The hospital participates in Medicare's value-based purchasing program and provides physical therapy and athletic training for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
