Ascension President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph R. Impicciche, JD, MHA, is included in Modern Healthcare's 2019 listing of the 100 most influential people in healthcare. This is the first time on the list for Joe, who assumed the role of President and CEO on July 1, 2019. Ascension's President and CEO has been included on the Modern Healthcare list every year since 2005.
"Impicciche said this August that his focus is based on strategically transforming the nation's third-largest Catholic health system. Ascension is looking into redesigning the surgical service line and reimagining its acute-care footprint," Modern Healthcare said.
