Ascension Saint Thomas Board Welcomes Esteemed Business Leader to System Finance Committee

Ascension Saint Thomas Board (AST) is proud to announce the appointment of Jenneen Kaufman as the newest member of the AST Finance Committee. Jenneen is a seasoned financial professional with a proven track record of strong business leadership, fiscal expertise, and community service.

Jenneen Kaufman currently serves as the Deputy Finance Director and Chief Accountant for the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, and joins a bold and innovative group of esteemed professionals and community leaders currently serving on Ascension Saint Thomas boards.

Jenneen’s combination of public and private sector financial expertise, community involvement, and industry recognition make her an excellent addition to the finance committee. Her diverse experience and commitment to service align well with the goals and values of the committee and will contribute significantly to the decision-making process.

Prior to her position at Metro, Jenneen served as the Senior Vice President and CFO of the Tennessee Titans for 24 years. As the Titans' CFO, she spearheaded critical initiatives including CBA Audits, player cost accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.

“Jenneen's diverse experience in the public and private sector will be a valuable addition to our health system and board," said Fahad Tahir, President and CEO of Ascension Saint Thomas. Her remarkable contributions have earned her prestigious accolades, including recognition as one of Nashville's Most Powerful Women by the Nashville Post, and as a 2018 CFO Awards honoree by the Nashville Business Journal.
