Ascension Saint Thomas Seton Celebration Gala Honors Carly Pearce and Dr. John Bright Cage, Raises $720,000 for Women’s Heart Health

The 2025 Seton Celebration Gala took center stage on Saturday, April 5, at The Pinnacle at Nashville Yards, a brand-new, state-of-the-art music venue that provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of inspiration and transformational giving.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of corporate sponsors and guests, the gala raised more than $720,000 to support the newly expanded Ascension Saint Thomas Heart Women’s Program. The program delivers comprehensive, personalized cardiovascular care designed specifically for women—empowering them to take charge of their heart health and live longer, healthier lives.

“The Seton Celebration Gala is a powerful reflection of our community’s longstanding commitment to the mission of Ascension Saint Thomas,” said Fahad Tahir, president and CEO of Ascension Saint Thomas. “The generosity of our supporters directly fuels our mission to deliver lifesaving care to every patient we serve. It’s incredibly meaningful to witness such strong support for advancing women’s heart health across Middle Tennessee.”

A beloved tradition since 1991, the Seton Celebration Gala honors individuals whose lives reflect the values of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton: love, service, and selflessness. This year’s celebration recognized two extraordinary new inductees into the Seton Society: GRAMMY Award-winning country star Carly Pearce and renowned cardiologist Dr. John Bright Cage.

Nashville Yards served as the evening’s presenting sponsor, and Lipman Brothers generously donated all wine and spirits. The evening’s theme, Extending the Branches of Hope,” came alive with a beautifully curated experience, including a three-course dinner, high-energy dance floor brought to life by a performance by Universal Crush and a standing ovation performance by Carly Pearce, who took the stage to perform her new hit,“no rain”, creating a truly unforgettable moment.

For more than three decades, the Seton Celebration Gala has stood as a cultural and philanthropic touchstone in Nashville, honoring the legacy of the Daughters of Charity and supporting the mission-driven work of Ascension Saint Thomas.
