St. John NICU Babies cheer on OKC Thunder

The associates of Ascension St. John Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) are pulling out all the stops to show their support for the OKC Thunder in the culminating rounds of the NBA Finals.

Decked out in blue and orange gear, NICU associates have transformed their unit into “Thunder Alley,” complete Thunder decorations and OKC Thunder onesies for their smallest patients.

“We’re all in,” said Dr. Craig Anderson, neonatologist and self-proclaimed Thunder superfan. “As a huge OKC Thunder fan, I wanted to share that excitement with my team and have some fun celebrating the Thunder’s advancement to the Finals.”

From babies to breakrooms the OKC Thunder fandom is strong at St. John.
