Due to the nature of his occupation, Efraín Trejo began to experience immense back pain on a daily basis. He tried common treatments, but none of them seemed to make a difference in reliving his pain or improving the quality of life. Efraín was referred to Dr. John Dietze at Providence Hospital in Waco to discuss a more permanent solution. After a consultation, Dr. Dietze recommended that Efra have the L4 and L5 of his spine repaired using Providence’s new robotic-assisted technology during the surgery.
Efraín quickly recovered from the procedure and quickly no longer had a pain in his back. Today, Efraín no longer has any pain in his back and is able to do all aspects of his job. He is proud to share that with his community that they don’t need to travel long distances to receive high-quality surgical care and he recommends that his friends and family seek care at Providence Hospital.
