Ascension St. Vincent's serves more than 80 patients for free in Green Cove Springs

Ascension St. Vincent’s is committed to serving all persons with special attention to those who are poor and vulnerable.

Ascension St. Vincent's teamed up with Vituity Cares to host a pop-up medical clinic in Green Cove Springs.

More than 80 people received medical checkups and medical equipment and prescriptions at no charge. More than 100 families received fresh groceries and dozens took advantage of free haircuts.

This clinic was part of the Soul Food Festival at Vera Francis Park on Saturday, October 4.

This is the fourth free community pop-up clinic that Ascension St. Vincent's has hosted in 2025.

Performance rankings like these provide an objective measure of a health system’s ability to deliver consistent high-performing care across the communities they serve. Saint Alexius regularly earns recognitions and distinctions for the quality health care it provides. This includes national quality approval from the Joint Commission, accreditation from the College of American Pathologists, a Primary Stroke Center certification and multiple “gold” and “elite” honors from the American Heart Association for its stroke and diabetes care.
