Ascension Wisconsin Honored by Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago

On November 7, 2025, Ascension Wisconsin was recognized by Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago at the 2025 New Lives Awards Luncheon, for its long-standing partnership through the TalentBridge program. The honor celebrates more than a decade of collaboration between the organizations focusing on creating pathways to employment and community empowerment.

The award highlights Ascension Wisconsin’s commitment to foster opportunity, inclusion and well-being beyond clinical care. Through TalentBridge, the organizations have worked together to connect individuals with career opportunities and build a stronger, more resilient workforce across Wisconsin.

“We are honoring Ascension Wisconsin with theTalentBridge IMPACT Award, " said Jackie Hallberg, President and CEO of Goodwill Greater Milwaukee and Chicago. “We have partnered with them for more than 15 years, helping them build a talent pipeline in the healthcare field including medical assistants and administrative positions including customer service and billing. Together, we have placed hundreds of individuals into jobs.”

Nichole Gladney, Director of Community Services and Engagement for Ascension Wisconsin, accepted the award on behalf of the organization. “Ascension Wisconsin is truly grateful to Goodwill for recognizing our partnership through TalentBridge,” said Gladney. “This award is a celebration of what’s possible when two organizations share a vision for community impact. By aligning Goodwill’s workforce development expertise with our Mission to foster a diverse and service-oriented workforce, we’ve been able to create opportunities that empower individuals and ultimately strengthen our community.”

Ascension Wisconsin and Goodwill share a belief in the power of opportunity. The partnership reflects Ascension’s Mission as a Catholic health ministry to care for all, especially those most vulnerable, while advocating for a more just and compassionate society.

“Partnering with Goodwill helps us live that Mission by creating pathways for individuals to thrive, contribute and grow,” Gladney added. “Their success stories reflect what happens when people are given the chance to belong, to contribute and to flourish.”
