Anthony R. Tersigni, EdD, FACHE, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ascension, is one of three new members of the Board of Trustees of Saint Louis University.
Tony joins NFL Senior Vice President B. Todd Jones and Boeing executive Kristin A. Robertson as new Board members whose three-year terms began in late September.
“We are excited to add these three talented and experienced business leaders to our Board of Trustees,” said Board Chairman Joseph Conran. “Each of them brings special skills and insight that will benefit the University for years to come.”
“I am proud and honored to join the Board of Saint Louis University, which this year has been celebrating its 200th anniversary,” Tony said. “I have admired [SLU President] Dr. Fred Pestello from afar and now will have the opportunity to assist him and the university as it pursues its commitment to ‘higher purpose, greater good.’”
Tony also serves on the boards of numerous professional and faith-based organizations, including the National Catholic Bioethics Center, Healthcare Leadership Council, National Council of St. Vincent de Paul Foundation, St. Louis Regional Chamber, and the Regional Business Council. He previously served on the board of the Catholic University of America, University of Detroit Mercy, Michigan Virtual University, and many other organizations. He received an Honorary Doctorate from Saint Louis University in 2011.
