Ascension campaign wins nonprofit PR award

A strategic campaign to increase the reach of Ascension’s healthcare leaders and engage audiences across multiple platforms has earned first place in the Executive Visibility category of PR Daily’s Nonprofit PR Awards 2019.

Ascension’s “Thought Leadership Strategy” campaign leveraged local and national leaders’ expertise, produced op-ed pieces for various publications and articles published on LinkedIn, and used social media outlets to promote key healthcare topics such as telemedicine and personalized care.

“As this honor demonstrates, Johnny Smith, Senior Director, Marketing and Communications, and his team do a great job throughout the year highlighting the work of our clinicians and leaders to provide compassionate, personalized care, advocate for a compassionate and just society, and lead the transformation of healthcare,” said Nick Ragone, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer.
