Ascension Seton Hays celebrates 10 years of growth

Ascension Seton Hays, part of Ascension Texas, is celebrating 10 years of providing medical care to Hays, Bastrop and Caldwell counties.

“We celebrate successes and growth made possible through hard work and dedication from our providers, associates, volunteers, partners and communities,” Neal Kelley, RN, FACHE, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Ascension Seton Hays, wrote in the Hays Free Press.

Achievements of the hospital include providing trauma care, performing open heart and brain surgeries, building a new healthcare facility in Buda, and the McCoy Wellness and Rehabilitation Center, a first-of-its-kind wellness and rehabilitation center.

In alignment with our Mission, over the past two years Ascension Seton Hays has twice hosted free medical clinics, providing medical, dental, vision and specialty care to more than 1,500 individuals.

To celebrate the milestone, an October community health fair offered flu vaccines, medical demonstrations, wellness education and activities for children.
