Area leaders gathered recently at Ascension St. John in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for a Community Connection event.
Attendees met and mingled with some of the top members of the Ascension St. John neuroscience team, including Daryl Thompson, MD, Medical Director of the Heyman Stroke Center, Tulsa's leader in stroke care. Ascension St. John’s stroke/neuro program is one of the top 150 in the nation for advanced stroke care and the hospital has been recertified by The Joint Commission as a comprehensive stroke center.
Ascension St. John holds Community Connection dinners quarterly, with invitations to key stakeholders in government, business, healthcare, faith and education, and Ascension St. John board members. Community Connection is hosted by Ascension St. John President and CEO Jeff Nowlin and Chief Advocacy Office Lucky Lamons.
