May is Preeclampsia Awareness Month. Dr. Addison McGinn leads the Ascension St. John Maternal Hypertension Clinic, the region’s only clinic that specializes in treating women with high blood pressure before, during, and after pregnancy. Dr. McGinn visited withKOTV’s Amy Slanchik to raise awareness and provide insight into the risk factors associated with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. A Tulsa native, Dr. McGinn has a special interest in cardio-obstetrics which focuses on the unique cardiovascular needs of women before, during, and after pregnancy
