Bartlesville, OK. - Ascension St. John Jane Phillips was recognized as one of the Top 20 Rural Community Hospitals in the country by the National Rural Health Association (NRHA). In addition, Jane Phillips was also named an iVantage Top 100 Hospital for the third consecutive year.
NRHA announced the 20 highest-ranked rural prospective payment hospitals in the country based on an evaluation by the Chartis Center for Rural Health using ivantage health Analytics Hospital Strength index.
The determining factors for the top 20 rural community hospitals were based on eight indices: inpatient market share, outpatient market share, quality, outcomes, patient perspective, cost, charge, and financial stability.
Ascension St. John Jane Phillips is one of only two hospitals in Oklahoma to achieve this recognition by the NRHA as Top 20 Rural Hospitals.
“We are proud of the efforts of our associates, physicians, clinicians and volunteers whose hard work made this achievement possible,” said Mike Moore, Ascension St. John Jane Phillips President and Chief Operating Officer. “Our recognition as a top health care provider means our community can count on us to deliver the services they need now and in the future.”
“NRHA is committed to ensuring our members have the best information to manage their hospitals,” said Brock Slabach, Senior Vice President, NRHA membership services. “We’re pleased to recognize the accomplishments of these rural community hospitals.”
