Volunteers assist runners at Ascension Seton Austin Marathon

The Ascension Seton Austin Marathon was held recently in Austin, Texas, and more than 16,000 athletes participated in the event.

As well as being the title sponsor, the Ascension Seton and the Ascension Seton Sports Performance team provided physicians and other medical personnel who were stationed along the course to meet any medical needs the runners might have.

This sponsorship, along with incredible volunteers, is just one of many ways Ascension Seton is giving back and caring for the members of the community.

The team treated more than 100 athletes throughout the day and had a total of 23 first aid stations set up along the route. Numerous runners were assisted at these stations throughout the race.
