Eduardo Conrado serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy and Innovations Officer for Ascension.

As Ascension continues to ensure the ongoing flourishing of its national health ministry, Joseph Impicciche, JD, MHA, President and Chief Executive Officer, has asked Eduardo Conrado to take on the role of President, Ascension, effective February 1, 2023. Joe will continue in the role of CEO.

Eduardo has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer for Ascension since July 2019 and has led the development and implementation of Ascension’s strategic plan, aligning strategic priorities and actions. Recognized by Modern Healthcare as a Top 20 Innovator in Healthcare in 2021, Eduardo has also led Ascension’s digital and data strategy, leading implementation of technology to enable an exceptional consumer experience as well as a strengthened clinician experience across our ministry.

“Eduardo is a gifted servant leader with the background, experience and talent to help us lead change in this new role as we respond to an evolving healthcare environment,” said Joe.

Eduardo served on the Ascension Board of Directors from 2014 to 2018 before becoming Ascension Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer in September 2018. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer for Motorola Solutions, Inc.

Craig Cordola, FACHE, serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Ascension.In addition, Craig Cordola will be transitioning from his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer to the role of Executive Vice President, Ascension Capital. Craig’s leadership throughout the pandemic response was critical to ensuring that Ascension’s caregivers had the resources needed to safely and effectively care for patients and their families. He has also been instrumental in the success of the ministry’s environmental stewardship efforts, including establishing bold, industry-leading goals in alignment with the Ascension Mission, and has overseen the launch of Ascension’s Consumer Experience efforts, building upon the success of previous initiatives to support growth and consumer loyalty.

“We are grateful for Craig’s contributions and commitment as a servant leader of our ministry and wish him continued blessings and great success with Ascension Capital,” said Joe.
