Ascension, one of the nation’s largest non-profit Catholic health systems, announced the departure of Michael McMillan, Senior Vice President and Chief Managed Care Officer, following a distinguished career in healthcare. Michael will be transitioning from Ascension on March 3, 2025.

Michael has been a transformative leader at Ascension, guiding the organization’s managed care strategy with unparalleled expertise. Under his direction, Ascension has strengthened relationships with health plans, advanced population health, and developed sustainable value-based payment strategies.

On December 2, 2024, Todd Moore joined Ascension as the new Senior Vice President and Chief Managed Care Officer. “We are immensely grateful for Michael’s visionary contributions to Ascension,” said Saurabh Tripathi, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ascension. “His work has laid the foundation for innovative managed care solutions that will benefit our ministry for years to come.
