Ascension Seton Assumes Full Ownership of Cedar Park Regional Medical Center

Today, Ascension Seton officially assumes full ownership of Cedar Park Regional Medical Center, a major milestone in its efforts to expand access, elevate care and bring new innovations to meet the needs of the growing Central Texas community.

This transition deepens Ascension Seton’s long-standing commitment to patient-centered care and positions the organization to meet the region’s evolving healthcare needs with greater agility and focus.

"Taking full ownership of Cedar Park Regional Medical Center strengthens our ability to grow alongside the Central Texas community,” said Eduardo Conrado, President of Ascension. “It allows us to expand services, invest in innovation, and respond more directly to the needs of patients and families across the region. With this transition, the hospital becomes fully integrated into the Ascension network—bringing greater alignment with our Mission and enhancing how we deliver care. It is an important step forward as we work to improve health outcomes and extend our commitment to those we are called to serve."

For years, Cedar Park Regional Medical Center has been a trusted source of quality care. Under Ascension Seton’s full leadership, the hospital will benefit from expanded resources, streamlined operations and deeper integration across the Ascension care network.

As a faith-based health provider, Ascension Seton remains focused on answering God’s call to bring health, healing and hope to all. With today’s transition, Cedar Park Regional Medical Center enters a new era—one rooted in compassion, collaboration and a shared vision for healthier communities.
