Ascension St. John names Brad Stein as New Market Chief Financial Officer

Ascension St. John has named Brad Stein as its new market chief financial officer. Stein will lead St. John’s finance strategy, ensuring it aligns with the organization’s overarching mission and strategic objectives.

“Brad is an excellent addition to our great team at Ascension St. John,” said Bo Beaudry, ministry market CEO of Ascension St. John. “He will play a pivotal role in moving our health system into the future and we will benefit from his extensive background, expertise and leadership in healthcare financial operations.”

Stein comes to Tulsa from Texas and brings nearly 20 years of senior financial leadership experience, including almost a decade with Ascension in Birmingham, Alabama. Most recently, he served as chief financial officer for HCA-Medical City Plano where he oversaw financial operations for a 603-bed hospital and supported earnings performance across an ACS Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, ABA verified Burn Center and ELSO Platinum certified ECMO program.

“I’m thrilled to join the Ascension St. John team,” Stein said. “St. John has been a pillar of the northeast Oklahoma community for 100 years and I’m honored to bring my financial leadership to support the system’s growth and service to the community.”
