The U.S. News & World Report rankings are considered one of the most trusted measures of hospital quality. They evaluate children’s hospitals nationwide based on key factors like:
- Outcomes: Survival rates, complication rates, and long-term results for children. ● Resources: Availability of advanced technology, specialized staff, and research programs.
- Experience: How many patients we treat and the complexity of cases we manage. ● Reputation: Surveys of pediatric specialists across the country.
In other words, these rankings measure what matters most to families: whether a hospital is equipped to provide the highest quality care, even in the most complex cases.
