Ascension St. Vincent Evansville Spreads Holiday Cheer, Provides Gifts to Over 100 Children

Ascension St. Vincent Evansville brought Christmas joy to over 30 local families this year through its Spirit of Christmas Giving program, ensuring over 100 children would have gifts to open on Christmas morning.

The Spirit of Christmas Giving program saw an outpouring of generosity from Ascension St. Vincent employees. Staff members donated and collected a variety of items, resulting in the contribution of over 900 gifts.

These donations, which included toys, wrapping paper, and essential winter items such as gloves, scarves, and hats, were distributed to 38 families with a total of 110 children this holiday season. Recipient families were identified through the St. Vincent Early Learning Center.

The effort reflects Ascension St. Vincent’s commitment to serving the community and embodies the spirit of giving during the holidays. The overwhelming success of the employee-driven campaign helped make the season brighter for numerous children and their families in the Evansville area.
