Ascension St. Vincent Anderson will host its annual Medical Mission at Home on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The free event provides medical care, screenings, and family resources to residents who are uninsured, underinsured, or facing barriers to care—no insurance or appointments required.
Held in the hospital’s north parking lot at 19th and Jackson Streets, the event offers a wide range of complimentary services while supplies last:
- Free Screenings & Care: Blood pressure, A1C, diabetes, stroke risk, vision, hearing, foot care, breathing, sleep, and pediatric ADHD/ADD checks.
- Specialized Women’s Care: Mammograms and Pap smears (pre-register at 765-646-8653 or 765-646-8720.
- Preventive & Family Safety: On-site flu shots, cardiac education, health insurance navigation, car seat safety, and online child safety info.
- Community Support: Free cookout lunch, haircuts, personal care items, food bags, giveaways, and a Kids Zone.
Language and interpreting services will be available on-site. Visitors should park in the main lot east of the hospital's front entrance.
