Ascension Saint Agnes has received three American Heart Association Get With The Guidelines® achievement awards. These honors demonstrate our unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care, and improving clinical outcomes for patients. 

The AHA Get With The Guidelines® program recognizes hospitals that demonstrate a dedication to following up-to-date, research-based guidelines. Ascension Saint Agnes qualified for the awards by demonstrating a sustained commitment to improving the quality of cardiovascular care. 

“We are committed to delivering high-quality care by adhering to the latest treatment guidelines and streamlining processes to ensure timely, appropriate care for patients suffering from heart attacks and strokes,” Wendy Lincoln, Chief Nursing Officer, Ascension Saint Agnes. “Get With The Guidelines programs help our teams put proven science into practice every day, supporting better outcomes so more people in our community can live longer, healthier lives.” 

This year, Ascension Saint Agnes, received the following awards: 

  • Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Bronze
  • Get With The Guidelines®-Coronary Artery Disease NSTEMI Silver with Target: Type 2 Diabetes
  • Get With The Guidelines®-Coronary Artery Disease STEMI Receiving Bronze
