Ascension Chief Information Officer Gagan Singh named one of the 2026 Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business

Ascension Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer Gagan Singh has been named one of the 2026 Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business by the Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC).

Established in 2001, the award recognizes the achievements and contributions of Asian American business professionals and entrepreneurs across the United States. The program marks its 25th anniversary in 2026.

“I am deeply honored to receive this recognition and join such an accomplished group of leaders,” Singh said. “This award reflects the work of teams across Ascension who are using technology, data, and innovation to support our caregivers and make healthcare more connected, personal, and responsive for those we are privileged to serve.”

Since becoming Chief Information Officer in 2022, Singh has led Ascension’s digital modernization and technology strategy, bringing together enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, software engineering, clinical platforms, and informatics to support care delivery and operational performance. Under Singh’s leadership, Ascension is embedding technology in clinical, operational, and consumer workflows to reduce friction and create meaningful value.
