Beth Van Gilder, MBA, joined Ascension Saint Thomas in early 2017 as the Executive Director of Population Health Operations and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Partners (ASTMP). In this role, she is responsible for strategic and operational leadership of the medical group for Ascension Saint Thomas. With more than 120 sites of care and 500+ clinicians, ASTMP is one of the largest medical groups in Tennessee.
Beth has been working in healthcare for more than two decades, with experience in the independent, for-profit and community owned healthcare industry. Before joining Ascension Saint Thomas, she spent several years as the Vice President of Physician Services for Northwest Health System in Bentonville/Springdale, Arkansas. Her focus there was on the strategic growth of 35 sites of care and a robust population health program.
She earned a Master of Business Administration degree from University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at Missouri Western State University in Saint Joseph, Missouri.
