Neal Kelley is the Regional Hospital President for Ascension Saint Thomas. Neal has over 30 years of clinical and health care administration experience and a passion for rural health issues. Neal is responsible for Ascension Saint Thomas’ six regional hospitals. His focus is on finding growth and development opportunities for services and partnerships in the surrounding counties throughout Middle Tennessee.

Prior to Ascension Saint Thomas, Neal served Ascension Seton Edgar B. Davis (ASEBD) as Vice President and COO, where his focus was on community health, access for the underserved, public-private partnerships, and establishing programs like the Children's Care-A-Van and a network of Rural Health Clinics in the region. Following ASEBD, Neal worked at Ascension Seton Hays (ASH) where he led efforts to grow the clinical scope of the hospital to include a robust open heart program, Level II Trauma capabilities, robotic surgery and the embedded Dell Children's ER within the ASH emergency department. He has overseen capital building projects that include the completion of a 30 bed ortho-trauma unit, a new Women's Services wing, and the construction of the McCoy Wellness and Rehabilitation Center on the ASH campus.

Neal has a master’s degree in business administration with a healthcare concentration from Western Governors, a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Phoenix.
